Mother's Day Tea Gift Boxes

Mother's Day is right around the corner (May 11) and I have been working for the last few days on some very special tea gifts. It all started last week when a new customer called me after seeing my ad in the latest TeaTime magazine. She wanted me to put together a gift box for her mother. They used to live near each other and enjoyed going to tea. She had moved and wanted to give her mother something special to remind her of their fun times together. The gift box pictured above is what I came up with.

I have done tea-themed gift boxes for awhile, but my focus has been on my Tea Cup Totes lately. I had forgotten how much fun it was to pull out all my inventory and start putting things together into the hat boxes and trunks. Once I started, I couldn't stop until I ran out of boxes! (Fortunately, my husband was out-of-town and I could spread out and work to my hearts content!) I put together 6 more gift boxes and listed them on my website today. Each box is one-of-a-kind, so if you want one to send to someone special, don't wait.
