Dear Friend,
I just wanted to say Happy New Year! I woke up early this morning, but lay in bed awhile--my head was swimming with thoughts of what this new year would bring! I love having a clean slate, so to speak. Everything is new again. The past is behind and the future begins today. What will your new year bring?
I am determined to live life on purpose this year. I want to make every moment count. I find myself wasting so much time on frivolous things. Life is a gift from God and I want to live it accordingly.
This year I resolve to make relationships a priority--with God, husband, children, parents, friends, and those who need a friend.
I resolve to keep things in proper perspective. I am not in control of the universe--God is. I will let Him run it and not fret when things aren't going the way I think they should. He has the master plan!
I resolve to do the best I can in every situation. I am not perfect, but will try to do every task and handle every difficulty to the best of my ability without whining or grumbling.
"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thess. 5:16-18
May your new year be a blessed one!

AND isn't it wonderful that we can "do all things through Christ who strengthens us"? I ditto these goals and I, too, have observed waste in my life. I know that I want to be even more aware of those around me through observation and discernment!
BEST BLESSINGS TO YOU, KAREN, IN 2008!

I was just posting this morning about a clean slate! I love the new dishes too. Seem too precious to just be called dishes. Perhaps china is better(?). Those sweet roses are darling. I have such a weakness for roses on china. Blessings.. Polly
I must say, I am truly delighted when I take the time to stroll down some of the many "Beau-Tea-Full" sites to see, and I find scripture amongst the roses. I love being part of His Family, but it tickles my heart when I see how beautiful it is. Beauty is a "Necessi-Tea", that must be why He created people with such a gift.
Very recently I lost my brother-in-law in a tragic accident, leaving my sister and her 3 children in the hands of our Heavenly Father. He is showing His faithfullness day after day. We have only to "consider the lillies of the field".
Thank-you for your wonderful stop, along lives journey. I'm sure I will stop this way again, to enjoy the beauty.
Cindy♥
