Share ideas and pictures that involve stitching for the tea table. Any kind of stitches count: sewing, embroidery, knitting, crochet, tatting, quilting, etc. The work can be yours or of someone else, but should be homemade rather than done by factory machines. Ideas are napkins, tea cozies, table linens, and other creations made with tea themes.

I have a few tea things that I have stitched up--LOL. I guess I will share some of them just because it is what I do...
One of my Tea Cup and Saucer Totes with a matching tea towel
Tea Apron fashioned after my grandmother's apron from her wedding trousseau in 1921
Another Tea Cup Tote...This one went with me to Chicago to the Country Living Event. (The Limoges tea cup is an estate sale find. It is eggshell thin and did not break, even when packed in a suitcase and checked in the baggage compartment!)A scalloped reversible tea cozy
Tomorrow I will post a lovely vintage hand-stitched tea cloth and napkin set that I use on my kitchen table. I just need to photograph it...

OH! Your Tea Totes are beautiful!
Thank you for sharing your gorgeous wares. I wish I had time for such creativity... alas, life is too busy.
God Bless,
Cori
Thank you for sharing your beautiful stitched tea things. They are elegant and lovely! I love the design for the tea towel applique and the copy of your grandmother's apron. The teacup tote is handy (I have one as well; it makes transporting them so easy!) and your tea cozy is feminine and pretty. It's wonderful that you are so involved in the art of sewing --- it's becoming a lost art, but I hear that a revival is in store!
Thank you for sharing!

Beautiful! I'm in awe. I'm having a strawberry themed tea party in early June--is there a way to get a copy of your teapot applique pattern? I have the PERFECT strawberry fabric to use and would LOVE to use it on some napkins and tea towels!

Oh my goodness, these are some of the most clever creations I've ever (never seen) before! Love the teacup tote!
Tea totes! Honestly, the things that I am learning! Those are wonderful, but the thing I love most is the apron fashioned from your grandmother's wedding apron. That is simply amazing!
