Pink Friday at Make Mine Pink

Tomorrow is Pink Friday! I am so excited about this week's theme--The Cottage Porch. I love summertime when I can sit on my porch early in the morning and have tea with my bird friends. We have a family of cardinals in the bushes near the porch swing and wrens in the note box by the front door. They are so much fun to watch! The breeze is always so refreshing and the heat of the day is still at bay, so I drink hot tea. ( I switch to iced tea by mid-morning...).

This week I will be offering some new teapot shaped cozies for those of you who drink hot tea in the mornings, as I do. They are my latest design and are sure to put a smile on your face. As always, they are one-of-a-kind and will be for sale on my website early Friday morning--midnight, actually. Have a peek:

So grab a quilt and a few pillows, a good book and enjoy the morning on the porch swing with a pot of tea. Maybe a neighbor will stop by and you can catch up on the latest goings-on in each other's lives. Life is short. Take time to savor the sweet moments when you can...

And, if you are wondering where that beautiful teapot needlepoint pillow on the porch swing came from...my friend Sharon of C'est Chouette had it listed on her site for Pink Friday a couple of weeks ago. I just had to have it! Be sure to stop by her site to see what she has to offer tomorrow. I hear there may be a little bluebird pillow available.
