Show and Tell Monday at MMP

It's Monday again and you know what that means--Show and Tell Monday! It's the day where the shops at Make Mine Pink share on our blogs what we have been doing. What have I been working on lately? It involves sewing of course! Here's my latest skirt:

And a close-up:

I have had so many customers ask me about designing skirts to flatter rounder figures. So, I added a contrasting border at the bottom, just as an experiment to see how it would work. I love the way it draws the eye down--away from the hips! I think this one is a keeper.

  5. Karen that skirt is AWESOME! Oh how gorgeous those colors are together. You really have a great eye for designing. I'm loving this new line of clothing you have going here. You have inspired me, and of course being your CT, I want to be just like you ... so I am going to try my hand at desiging vintage/retro reproduction dresses! I am going to have to get one of your skirts! But which one??? Hmmmm...
    Great job my friend!

  17. Karen,
As usual your design is fastidious. Every thing about your work from design to photography is so well thought out and executed. It is like you have a team of professionals hanging out at your house. Do you?
